Gisbert L. Brunner (born in 1947) associated with watch world since 1964. During the infamous ‘quartz crisis’ that was killing fine watchmaking in 70s he focused mostly on mechanical side of watch craftsmanship that endures with him till this day. As a die-hard enthusiast he wrote many articles and over 20 books about fine art of watchmaking.
